Bayonetta 3’s bewitching Trinity Masquerade Edition is sold out

Sure videogames are great and we love them a great deal, but you know what’s better than a standard game? A special or collector’s edition. Many games have them and some are more popular than others, as certain ones sell out in minutes while some go on sale for cheap because nobody ordered them (looking at you, Cyberpunk 2077) but unsurprisingly, Bayonetta 3 falls under the former category.

Yes, the witch is back later this year, and while some people couldn’t help but complain about a lack of nudity in Bayonetta 3’s naive angel mode, others went straight to the My Nintendo Store to secure their copy of the TME and evidently, the special version of the game is extremely popular, especially since Bayonetta 3’s Trinity Masquerade Edition sold out in the UK’s MNS within the first 24 hours of being on sale.

You read that right. If you didn’t secure yourself a Bayonetta 3 TME copy immediately, your chances of getting one now are slim to none, in the UK at least, unless you grab one at GAME while they’re still available. In the Trinity Masquerade Edition, you get a physical copy of the game, a 200-page art book, and three exclusive title sheets – one for each game in the series, which you can combine to create a panoramic artwork.

What is the Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition release date?

Those of you that did manage to secure the Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition can expect it to release on the same day as the standard version, October 28 this year. Check out our Bayonetta 3 release date guide for more details about the game.
